7. Account Security

7.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account login information.

7.2 You are responsible for all activities that occur under your Account.

7.3 You must immediately notify us if you become aware of:

7.3.1 Any unauthorised use of your

Account;

7.3.2 Any security breach relating to your

Account;

7.3.3 Any other compromise of your Account security.

8. Acceptable Use

8.1 You may use the Website only for lawful purposes.

8.2 You agree to use the Website in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy set out in Schedule 1.

8.3 You must not use the Website:

8.3.1 In any way that breaches any applicable law or

regulation;

8.3.2 In any way that is unlawful or

fraudulent;

8.3.3 For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm

minors;

8.3.4 To transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised

advertising;

8.3.5 To knowingly transmit any data containing viruses or malicious code.

14. Nature of Our Services

14.1 The Website provides access to a technology marketplace that connects individuals and businesses seeking legal services with solicitors.

14.2 Our services include:

14.2.1 Providing a platform for solicitors to list their

services;

14.2.2 Enabling users to search for and find

solicitors;

14.2.3 Facilitating introductions between users and

solicitors;

14.2.4 Providing communication

tools;

14.2.5 Verifying basic SRA registration status of solicitors.

14.3 Our services do NOT include:

14.3.1 Providing legal

advice;

14.3.2 Providing legal

services;

14.3.3 Recommending specific

solicitors;

14.3.4 Guaranteeing the quality of services provided by

solicitors;

14.3.5 Holding client

money;

14.3.6 Conducting AML/KYC checks on users (this is the solicitor's responsibility under MLR 2017 and LSAG 2025).

  • We do NOT provide legal advice. Nothing on this Website should be construed as legal advice.

15.1 The information and content on the Website is provided for general information purposes only.

15.2 The Website does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor.

15.3 If you need legal advice, you should instruct a solicitor. Solicitors on our Platform are independently regulated by the SRA and provide their own professional legal advice.

15.4 We accept no responsibility for any decisions made or actions taken based on information on the Website.

16. Relationship With Solicitors

16.1 Solicitors listed on the Platform are independent professionals. They are NOT:

16.1.1 Employed by

us;

16.1.2 Agents of

us;

16.1.3 Partners of

us;

16.1.4 Representatives of us.

16.2 When you instruct a solicitor through the Platform:

16.2.1 You enter into a contract directly with the

solicitor;

16.2.2 The solicitor is responsible for the legal services they

provide;

16.2.3 Any fees for legal services are payable to the solicitor, not to

us;

16.2.4 Complaints about legal services should be made to the solicitor, then the Legal Ombudsman.

16.3 We have no control over and accept no responsibility for:

16.3.1 The quality of legal services provided by

solicitors;

16.3.2 The advice given by

solicitors;

16.3.3 The fees charged by

solicitors;

16.3.4 The outcome of any legal

matter;

16.3.5 Any actions or omissions of solicitors.

17. Regulatory Status

17.1 We confirm that:

17.1.1 We are NOT authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA

);

17.1.2 We are NOT a member of The Law

Society;

17.1.3 We are NOT authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA

);

17.1.4 We are NOT a 'relevant person' for the purposes of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.

17.2 Solicitors on the Platform are regulated by the SRA. You can check a solicitor's regulatory status on the SRA Register at: www.sra.org.uk/consumers/register/

17.3 We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for data protection purposes.

17.4 Solicitors must comply with:

17.4.1 SRA Standards and Regulations 2019 (as amended 2025

);

17.4.2 SRA Code of Conduct for Solicitors, RELs, and

RFLs;

17.4.3 SRA Transparency Rules 2018 (as amended

);

17.4.4 Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (as amended

);

17.4.5 LSAG Anti-Money Laundering Guidance

2025;

17.4.6 Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

Part 5: Consumer Protection

18. Your Consumer Rights

18.1.4 If our services do not meet these standards, you may be entitled to repeat performance or a price

reduction;

18.1.5 Unfair terms in consumer contracts are not binding on you.

18.2 Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

18.2.1 For services ordered online, you have a 14-day right to

cancel;

18.2.2 The cancellation period starts the day after you enter into the

contract;

18.2.3 You can cancel without giving any

reason;

18.2.4 If you are not informed of your cancellation right, the period extends to 12 months + 14 days.

18.3 Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024:

upfront;

18.3.2 We do not use 'drip pricing' (adding fees during the transaction

18.3.3 The total price is clearly stated at the first point prices are

displayed;

18.3.4 You are protected from unfair commercial practices.

18.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

19. Cancellation Rights

19.1 For any paid Platform services ordered online, you have a 14-day right to cancel.

right to cancel Platform services is separate from any cancellation rights you may have with your solicitor. Check your solicitor's terms for their cancellation policy.

  1. PRICE TRANSPARENCY (DMCCA 2024)

20.1 We are committed to price transparency:

20.1.1 All Platform fees (if any) are displayed clearly before you

commit;

20.1.2 We do not add hidden fees during the transaction

process;

20.1.3 All mandatory costs are disclosed

upfront;

20.1.4 VAT is included in displayed prices (or clearly stated if not).

20.2 Legal fees charged by solicitors are set by the solicitors, not by us. Solicitors must comply with SRA Transparency Rules regarding fee disclosure.

Part 6: Vulnerable Users and Accessibility

21. Support for Vulnerable Users

21.1 We recognise that some users may need additional support. You may be a vulnerable user if you have difficulties due to:

21.1.1 Age (older or younger users

21.1.2 Disability (physical, sensory, or learning

34.2.2 Within 6 YEARS of the act or

omission;

Part 11: General Provisions

35. Suspension and Termination
