Cookie Policy

Effective Date: 26 March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how eSolicitors (operated by Esol Corporation Limited, Company No. 16927988) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the esolicitors.com platform.

We comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. We do not set non-essential cookies without your explicit consent.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the site.

We use a four-category consent system. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or choose individually.

1. Essential Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They cannot be switched off.

info

Rejecting analytics and marketing cookies will not prevent you from using the platform. Only essential cookies are required for core functionality.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services embedded in our platform:

  • Daily.co - Video consultation room (session cookies only, no tracking)
  • Stripe - Payment processing (essential for transactions)
  • Hotjar - Analytics (only if analytics consent is given)

These third parties have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns.

How We Load Third-Party Scripts

We use a consent-aware script loader. Third-party tracking scripts (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, GTM, Hotjar) are not loaded until you give consent for the relevant category. This means:

  • No analytics scripts run before you accept analytics cookies
  • No marketing scripts run before you accept marketing cookies
  • Essential scripts (Stripe, Daily.co) always load as they are required for platform function

ICO Compliance

Our cookie system is designed to comply with:

  • PECR Regulation 6 - No non-essential cookies before explicit consent
  • UK GDPR Article 7 - Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous
  • ICO guidance - Reject all option is equally prominent to Accept all

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, or when regulations change. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the current version.
