Lawyer Subscription Plans
eSolicitors offers three lawyer subscription tiers. All lawyers start on the Free plan and can upgrade at any time. Higher tiers unlock more features, higher limits, and lower platform fees.

Platform Fees
Platform fees are applied on top of your matter earnings. The fee structure is designed so that higher-tier subscribers pay lower fees, rewarding volume and commitment.
Seller (Lawyer) Fees
Fees are calculated per unit of matter value using a fixed-fee model:

Exact fee amounts are displayed in the Fee Calculator within your lawyer dashboard, based on your specific matter value. Fees decrease as matter value increases (tiered bands).

Consultation Credits
Consultation credits allow clients to book the £15 AI Scoping Consultation with you. Each credit = one consultation booking slot.
- Credits refresh on your billing date each month
- Unused credits do not roll over
- You can purchase additional credits outside your monthly allowance
- A client's consultation booking deducts one credit from your account
Bid Credits
Bid credits are used when you submit a bid on a client project in the Project Bidding Marketplace.
- Each bid submission costs 1 bid credit
- Credits refresh monthly on your billing date
- Bid credits are NOT refunded if you do not win the project
- Credits ARE refunded if an admin removes the project from the marketplace
Upgrading or Downgrading
- Upgrade at any time - new limits apply immediately, Stripe prorates the payment
- Downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle
- If your usage exceeds your new plan's limits after downgrading, existing items are preserved but you cannot create new ones until within limits
Law Firm Plans
If you are part of a law firm, your firm admin may have a Growth (£179/mo), Scale (£449/mo), or Enterprise (custom) firm plan. Firm members inherit credits from the firm pool rather than their individual plan.

Billing
- All plans are billed monthly via Stripe
- Payment is taken on the same day each month (the day you subscribed)
- If payment fails, you have a 3-day grace period before your account reverts to Free
- Cancel anytime from your dashboard - you retain Pro/Elite access until the end of the billing period
Free Plan Limitations
The Free plan is designed to let you try the platform before committing. However:
- You are limited to 3 service listings
- You receive only 2 consultation credits per month
- Your services appear below Pro and Elite lawyers in search results
Most active practitioners upgrade to Pro within their first month.
